July 2005 - Rene takes great pleasure in singing with the Issaquah Chorale group in Issaquah, Washington. The outfit and his own beard in this photo was his costume in the "The Journey of Lewis and Clark" concert on June 26th 2005. Rene sings in many concerts including one at Christmas time, one a classical music concert including works by Brahms, Mozart, Schubert & Vaughn-Williams to name a few. Last March his Chorale Group joined with two other choral groups for a concert at Benaroya Hall in Seattle, which is the home of the "Seattle Symphony". They performed works of Handel, Dvorak, Verdi, and Beethoven. Rene looks forward to more performances. Rene says, "I still have the furry face. I'm thinking of keeping it, but (wife) Margaret hasn't decided yet." Photo taken June 2005. We wonder if Rene still has a "furry face." Tee Hee
